Something Old
Wedding traditions can serve as a practical checklist for the bride-to-be. Some of us ladies have every moment planned to the smallest of details. The rest of us get caught up in those details and end up forgetting the more basic tasks like what to pack for your honeymoon. I belonged to the second group of ladies. My mother and maid of honor helped at the last minute to throw some things in my suitcase.
Future brides who aren’t quite sure what to pack on their honeymoon — this blog is for you.
In our first post, we chose a few pieces that combine romantic and sexy as well as casual comfort.
Peixoto’s Mia Crop Top and Maxi Skirt features this perfect blend of style. Peasant blouse style top with wide scoop neckline and loose fitting sleeves. Eyelet lace details the front and around the sleeves. The waistline has a relaxed elastic band and scallop hem.
The maxi length skirt has a wide cinched waistline and partial underskirt. Matching eyelet lace and scallop hemline.
Flamingo One Piece has a plunging V neckline and overlong T-strap at the back. Super soft fabric makes this the most comfortable bodysuit you’ll ever own. Latin Cut gives you just the right amount of backside coverage — not too much, not too little. Wear on or off the beach with Mia Maxi Skirt. Just slip on a pair of wedges or strappy heels.
Vitamin A’s Natural Tosh Tote holds everything you need for an easy transition from beach to street, including Cocobelle’s Macrame Sand Ibiza bracelet — and those strappy heels!
As for those wedding traditions and a time-honored rhyme that starts with ‘something old, something . . . ‘? I wore my mother’s diamond stud earrings, which were now mine to keep 🙂
