About L*Space:
Monica Wise founded her brand in 1999. Inspired by her love for bikinis as well as spending many of her days on the beach her teens and 20’s. Finding the perfect bikini — not just in the way it fit but in how that perfect fit can create confidence is what fueled her desire to become one of the most prominent American designers in beachwear.
Why the name “L*Space”? Understanding what fulfilled her professionally and personally seemed the perfect place to start for ideas. “Love, laughter, lounging on the beach, living a life she could make happen” all start with the letter “L”. Making this life possible, combining all these favorite spaces to create a happy life.
A typical day in Monica’s life includes an early morning workout routine, getting her ready to interact at the office with her team. Dedicated to staying involved as much as possible, she makes time for daily design meetings, social media and marketing. She remains a creative force in L*Space, and all its branding areas.
