About Peixoto:
Founded by Mauricio Esquenazi. Born in Colombia and raised abroad, he currently resides between New York City and Miami. Not only family ties and travels but also extensive exposure to various cultures define his style. Even more, inspired him to launch his swimwear line. Creative ideas begin with the sun and water. This continues to provide fresh and delicate Peixoto™ designs.
What defines the Peixoto design? “A cross between they tiny style that reveals too much and the overly large brief that often conceals feminine beauty.” The result is a unique style, of which bottom lines sit low on hips to accentuate the figure as well as provide comfort. Elegance in classic style working in tandem with a modern touch every woman will love.
From their bio:
The word ‘peixoto’ [pay-show-toe] translates to “fisherman” in Portuguese. The fusion of this word and Mauricio’s family ties remains the inspiration for Peixoto’s fashion aesthetics. It is a name meant to evoke elegance and sophistication in combination with the element of water. Design with tremendous sex appeal.
“Peixoto stands for nostalgia and classic beauty. It’s all in the details.”
