Moon and Stars Over Aruba

Vacationing in Aruba! The water is a blue I’ve never seen – a true turquoise. The sand a soft white with seashells that shined like tiny pieces of opaque glass.

Wildfox’s Moon and Stars Bikini was a great choice for body surfing. The zipper front bikini top I wore underneath the Princess Drape Crop Blouse. A pair of linen shorts and Cocobelle Gili Wrap Sandals completed my outfit for a night out that started with Cuba’s Cookin’ Restaurant. Delicious food and drinks – with caipirinha on the menu. A salsa show was included, with the dancers visiting the tables for willing partners.

Salt and Pepper

After dinner we found Salt and Pepper Tapas Bar and decided from the moment we walked in that it was our favorite place.

A large patio leads into a small and cozy bar. Shelves filled with salt and pepper shakers line each wall. The bartenders take pride in their drinks and the waitresses make you feel at home instead of catered. The bathroom walls have the kind of silly messages that make you want to take pictures of them to share when you sit down at the bar.

It was a great first night.
